1. SECURING YOUR BOOKING

The booking of the event or service is only reserved once the client has paid the non-refundable deposit to FACE by Hasina via bank transfer. Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for the event. This is a separate paid service.

 

2. PRICE LIST

Please note, each looks’ technique is dependent on the function, the client cannot opt for party makeup if the client is the bride as there is a significant difference in time, technique & products used for each look. Service must be chosen according to the occasion; brides are subjected to bridal service only whether requesting soft or intense look.

 

3. PAYMENT

Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash. The non-refundable deposit paid by the client will be deducted from the final balance due. The final balance is to be paid in full by the client 1 day before the event if by bank transfer or on the day of the event if to be paid in cash.

4. TRAVEL EXPENSES

The total cost includes travel 3 miles of postcode NW9, but excludes tolls, congestion charge or parking costs. Travel further than 3 miles shall be charged additionally, and the client will cover any other necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking.

5. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies, and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any known condition.

The client shall book an adequate package as required for the event. If it becomes apparent on the day of the booking that a non-bridal package has been booked by a bride for her events (this includes pre and post wedding events or any other events related to the wedding, the makeup artist has the right to cancel the booking without providing the services. In addition, the makeup artist is under no obligation to refund or transfer the deposit. Any payment made before the date of the event will be forfeited in this case.

The client will be punctual and ready for the makeup artist to commence at the time specified on the booking form and will adhere to all preparatory advice provided by the makeup artist a day before the event. In the event the client is not able to start at the agreed time, the client understands this may have a direct effect on the overall quality of the booking due to the limited time allowance.

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / abusive and threatening behaviour.

6. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The client at any point in writing can cancel the event. The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments. Refunds are not eligible upon skin reactions or where satisfaction is not met. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the makeup artist of any allergies or skin conditions.

Cancellations made by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the makeup artists performance of their obligations where no other suitable alternative can be offered, a full refund will be given to the client. No further monetary compensation will be offered. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist where possible the makeup artist will endeavour to rectify such situations, however no compensation will be offered on the makeup artist part. It is strongly advised you take out wedding insurance to cover you against these situations.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY

The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist's website and social media pages. This includes photos taken by the artist (possibly before and after photos) and photos taken by your professional photographer. Clients may wish to remain private by opting out of photos being shared on social media on FACE by Hasina’s Instagram Portfolio. Please ensure to clearly communicate this to the artist on the day of the booking.

 

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

FACE by Hasina’s liability shall not exceed the charges paid under this booking agreement. FACE by Hasina shall have no liability for any third-party (product/service) whatsoever regardless of cause, even if it has been recommended. By financially securing your deposit you accept these terms and conditions.
